DIY Halloween Ideas!

Tissue Paper Pumpkins and Ghosts!
This is so easy. It lights up a room and creates the holiday season with a spooky glow. All you need is:
-bottle of Elmer's glue (not the glue stick) or mod podge
-orange tissue paper
-scissors
-black construction paper
-a candle
-glass jar (mason jars work well)
-sponge brush (to spread the glue)
You can find most of this stuff at the dollar store. I don't know about the candle, but that is also easy to find online or at the store.
Step 1: Cover outside of  jar in Elmer's glue. You can also use mod-pogde.
Step 2: Take tissue paper and cut it into pieces of all different sizes. This will create a messy spooky look when finished. Apply pieces all over the jar. Don't make this super thick. While applying, the glue may dry. You can keep on applying more layers of glue.
Step 3: Once you add the tissue paper apply another coat of glue. Let it sit and dry.
Step 4: (optional) Add ribbon around top part of jar. This looks super cute and helps the pumpkin have a little pop and spirit!

Sparkle Pumpkin!
I love how this is just an authentic fall idea. I would love to try this idea. But it is really simple.
All you need is:
-a foam pumpkin ( so you can use this decoration again next year)
-white, black, (or just keep it orange) paint
-glitter or sequins
-Elmer's glue
Step 1:Paint pumpkin in a few coats of paint. Allow it to dry.
Step 2:If you are using glitter then you can cover your pumpkin in glue where ever you want your sparkles. Using a sponge brush will help a lot. Sprinkle your glitter over where the glue is. If you are using sequins do this...you can do it the long way. One by one apply a dot of glue to your sequin then place onto pumpkin. Or you can cover pumpkin in glue using a sponge brush and then place sequins onto pumpkin. If you just pour out the sequins they will all be uneven. So, doing sections at a time and evening then out will work best for sequins.
Step 3: Let glue dry. Placing this on a mantle will look fabulous and will definitely look great!

Haunted House Filled with Ghosts...
I decorate my house like this every year! This makes the house look like ghosts are peeking out of it. This is so easy to make and is something that will help your house have a Halloween charm. You will need:
-several sheets of white poster board
-scissors
-tape
-pencil or something to write with
Step 1: Using a pencil draw ghost-like people on poster board. Keep in mind that when you put these up to your window you want them to look as if they are peeking out from the walls. If you look at the picture below you will understand. These should be fairly large.
Step 2: Cut out ghosts using scissors.
Step 3:Using tape put these on the inside part of the windows with tape. As you hang them have them coming from all different directions on the windows.
